Some people know I was a "hairwrapper" in my previous life at Walt Disney World. Some may know about hairwraps and feel nostalgic with memories of their trips to the parks and that little souvenir that stayed in your hair for who knows how long. Some have never heard of such a thing! For those people, it is a bit tricky to explain but the best way is that it is a trendy accessory for the hair, sort of like a piece of jewelry. This art form goes all the way back to the Egyptians and most recently became a trend in the hippy days and a must-do at Disney or on the islands. It is the "tell" that you took a vacation and lasts for weeks or sometimes even months!
I miss my crafty self! I decided to start doing this for special events and birthday parties. Girls and guys of all ages love them. At Disney it was mostly children, ages 5-15 having them done but it is fun to see how stoked college students get over them! Each wrap takes 5-8 minutes and we do have the option for pre-made clip on wraps too.
